As a case handler in population registration, you have a varied and educational role that involves many interactions, investigations, and decision-making. Discover a diverse assignment! About the Job You will handle and investigate cases that vary in scope and complexity. This involves analyzing and assessing different types of documentation. You request additional information via phone, mail, and digital mailboxes in contact with individuals and other government agencies. Based on laws and regulations, you assess the documentation and make decisions. Some cases are simple and quick while others require more time. You conduct inspection visits when it is the most appropriate way to ensure correct population registration. Since we handle a lot of information in our case handling, you need to be able to absorb and organize information, while at the same time we have a varied workday where we need to actively work with prioritization and structure. The content, scope, and complexity of the work are determined based on the organization's needs and you need to be flexible. You drive your cases independently and actively work on choosing effective solutions. We work in teams and you have close collaboration with your team colleagues. We work with continuous improvements in our daily operations and we would like to see that you have an interest in developing the work. You have flexible working hours and it is self-evident for us that you have a balance between work and leisure. You will be part of population registration unit 4 in the Population and Property Department, with placement in Jönköping. In this job you should: independently plan and drive your work forward to achieve results have good conduct towards both our customers and your colleagues speak and write clearly and simply in Swedish and English have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible and open to change be good at collaborating and supporting others to achieve common goals be able to analyze information flows, see connections, and make decisions You should also have: a completed higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in, for example, economics, law, social sciences, behavioral sciences, or other relevant field for the job current and relevant work experience with investigative tasks and experience in making decisions B-class driving license It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience from the Swedish Tax Agency. It is also desirable to have current and relevant work experience in interacting with people via email and phone. Good to Know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with criminal record check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
