The Unit
You will be part of the community development unit, a unit that works with community development issues from a broad perspective, from details to the whole picture. We work, among other things, with issues within community planning, construction and housing provision. The work tasks within this position involve handling energy and housing support for businesses and individuals.
Work Tasks
We are now looking for a new colleague to handle the County Administrative Board's energy and housing support. The focus of the position will be on handling support linked to energy efficiency measures in single-family homes. The assessments in cases concern, among other things, that the measures carried out are reasonable and that they lead to energy efficiency improvement of the building. Depending on your background and interest in issues, additional assignments for the county administrative boards consisting of inspections of shelters may become relevant for the position.
The work is independent but conducted in close collaboration with colleagues. You are responsible for driving your cases and work tasks forward, but also cooperate with others both internally and externally. Based on your previous experience and knowledge, other work tasks within the unit's areas of operation may also become relevant.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have previously worked with handling of support, grants or supervision within public activities. We would like to see that you have previous experience from work within public activities and experience of exercising government authority. Particularly meritorious is experience of handling within construction, technology, energy or community development.
As a person, you are self-driven and structured, as the handling is largely independent work that places demands on the ability to plan and carry out work efficiently. The work tasks require good judgment, good structure, and problem-solving and analytical ability. You are collaboration-oriented and contribute to a positive work environment in the unit.
An important part of the role as support handler is having contact with applicants for the support. It is therefore important that you are communicative, service-oriented and can create and maintain good contacts. You are flexible and can adapt to changed conditions and changed circumstances.
The position requires good knowledge of the Swedish language.
Terms
The position is full-time and is permanent. We apply 6 months probation as a rule for our permanent positions. Start as soon as possible after agreement.
