Port Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Operation, supervision and maintenance of the port division's facilities and vessels. • The position also includes maritime work, as we are responsible for maintaining fairways, quays, laying out docks and transportation within the operational area, etc. • The work can be physically demanding. • Deckhand on the port's tugboat. • Master on the port's work boats. QUALIFICATIONS Vessel Master Class 8 (minimum certificate) Category B driver's license Medical certificate for seafarers, unlimited voyage Knowledge of Karlskrona Archipelago, and interest in maritime life and seafaring Training in the ISPS Code Higher nautical qualification Category BE driver's license Training as Engine Officer Class 8 (minimum certificate) Basic safety training Practical knowledge in construction and civil engineering Forklift certification We are looking for a co-worker who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
