About the Operations Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Region Dalarna provides specialist care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old with serious mental health issues and/or neuropsychiatric functional limitations. We now have an opportunity for you as a licensed coordinator to join our team at the BUP clinic in Ludvika. Here you will work clinically with treatment of children and young people and contribute to developing the organization's working methods. The position is located in Ludvika, but work at other units within the organization may occur. Our mission includes trauma, depression, self-harm behavior, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, sleep disorders, and neuropsychiatric functional limitations such as ADHD and autism. We work in a multidisciplinary manner to ensure well-founded assessments and high-quality interventions. BUP Region Dalarna consists of five outpatient clinics as well as region-wide resources in the form of crisis teams, 24-hour care, family therapy units, and eating disorder units. We continuously develop our working methods to meet the needs of child and adolescent psychiatry in the future. The BUP clinic in Ludvika is located at Ludvika Hospital. An engaged team works here consisting of nurses, coordinators, psychologists, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and a manager. The work climate is characterized by openness, collaboration, and short decision-making paths, which provides good opportunities to influence both clinical work and organizational development. Job Responsibilities As a coordinator, you contribute a psychosocial perspective to healthcare, encompassing psychological, systemic, and social-legal aspects in work with patients and their family members. You are an important part of the multidisciplinary collaboration where you contribute knowledge about social and societal factors that affect mental health, while playing an active role in treatment work. In your work as a coordinator with basic psychotherapeutic training at our clinic, you work with: Psychosocial assessment and evaluation of children and young people, and participation in multidisciplinary investigation work Counseling with children, young people, and families Individual CBT treatment as well as group treatments, for example for anxiety and depression issues Supportive counseling and suicide prevention work Parent support and family-oriented interventions Followup and evaluation of treatment interventions The work also involves regular contact and collaboration with other actors such as schools, social services, and other healthcare providers. You actively collaborate with the clinic team to ensure good continuity in patient work.
