The Talk Clinics for Children and Young People in Sörmland are organized within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic and provide assessment and treatment at the primary care level. The Talk Clinic's mission is to offer assessment and psychological treatment for children and young people (6-18 years) with mild to moderate mental health issues. In Sörmland, we have 2 main clinics centrally located in Nyköping and Eskilstuna where we provide care Monday-Friday. At other locations in Sörmland, we staff based on the size of the municipality. The teams currently consist of approximately 20 positions, distributed among coordinators, psychologists, psychotherapists, and child psychiatrists.
Your Responsibilities
We are now seeking a Healthcare and Social Services Coordinator to join our great team in Eskilstuna! You will be primarily based in Eskilstuna or Strängnäs, but work may occur at both locations. We are looking for someone who wants to work with assessment and treatment focused on children, young people, and their caregivers. We have a holistic perspective on the child's situation where each team member works both independently and as part of a team with shorter treatment interventions and collaboration with other actors when needed. Our goal is to offer a wide range of different treatment methods and let current research guide our work; care is provided in person, digitally, and/or in groups. We work extensively with group treatment and would therefore like to see that you enjoy working with groups! You plan your work independently and have the opportunity to work remotely 1 day/week.
We value a broad range of competencies but would prefer if you have training in systems theory or CBT. Our mission means we have a high flow of visitors, which places high demands on organizational and collaboration skills both internally and externally. All employees have a base placement, but work may also occur at other locations.
Your Qualifications
You are a licensed Healthcare and Social Services Coordinator with previous work experience in treatment work with children and young people at the primary care level. The work requires that you can remain calm in stressful situations, work methodically, with a solution-focused approach, and are accustomed to taking personal responsibility. You have good communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working in a development-oriented manner. Personal suitability is highly valued.
