About the Role We are currently seeking a sustainability manager for a well-established manufacturing company based in Malmö. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine leadership with operational and strategic work in sustainability, occupational health, and safety. You will be responsible for supporting and further developing the company's EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and sustainability initiatives, with a focus on creating a safe workplace and ensuring that operations comply with applicable legislation and internal guidelines. You will work closely with production and be involved in areas such as risk assessments, incident management, chemical handling, energy issues, and sustainability reporting. The role also includes responsibility for the company's supply chain systems and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and sustainable operations. You will lead a team of six employees and drive improvement initiatives across the business. You will coordinate audits, regulatory contacts, and sustainability initiatives, as well as contribute to developing work methods and processes over time. This is initially a six-month consulting assignment with good opportunities for employment with the client. The position is based in Malmö with work taking place primarily on-site during daytime hours. Occasional travel within Europe may occur. Desired start date is as soon as possible. About You You are a confident leader with solid expertise in occupational health, safety, and sustainability, preferably from the manufacturing industry. You have at least five years of experience from production-related operations and have previously led teams or work groups. You have good knowledge of Swedish legislation on occupational health and sustainability, and the ability to translate regulations and requirements into practical and effective processes that support safe and sustainable production. As a person, you are communicative, engaging, and skilled at building trusted relationships within the organization. You have a proactive approach, are driven by improvement work, and have the ability to coach, influence, and achieve results together with others.
