Description Gullmars Gymnasium is a municipal upper secondary school in beautiful, well-adapted facilities in a fantastic location by the sea in central Lysekil. The school has approximately 600 students enrolled in 12 national programs and an IB program. We are very proud of our school, our skilled teachers, and our wonderful students. At Gullmars Gymnasium, we have well-functioning teamwork. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan our work in teaching teams and subject teams. There is great openness among teachers, and we share a common responsibility for all students to succeed. Additionally, the school has good access to support from our student welfare team. Job Responsibilities Teaching Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language and possibly another subject Qualifications One of our teachers who teaches Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language will be on parental leave, so we are now looking for a new colleague to teach Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language in the IB program and our national programs together with other colleagues. It is advantageous to have certification to teach Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. We are looking for someone with the ability to: - build good relationships with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians - work independently and together with others to plan and carry out work in the educational activities - encourage young people to be active and take responsibility - convey knowledge so that all students learn and develop - assess and evaluate student learning and development using a variety of methods - evaluate and contribute to school development In addition to the above, we think you have good didactic ability, are confident in your role as a teacher, are an engaged colleague, and are creative in the way you plan and deliver instruction.
