We are now seeking a mathematics teacher at 100% for Odengymnasiet. About Odengymnasiet Odengymnasiet is located near beautiful Vinterviken near Örnsberg subway station. We have approximately 300 students and 30 staff members. Our school is characterized by a pleasant and family-like atmosphere where teachers and students work closely together with good team spirit. We offer the Hair and Styling Program, Social Sciences Program, Technology Program, and introductory programs including Program-Specific Electives, Career Introduction, and Individual Alternative. About the Role We are now seeking a certified teacher who can teach the high school subjects mathematics, natural sciences, and geography. The position also includes mentoring. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and engaged in your subjects and has a strong commitment to student engagement. You enjoy meeting students with different backgrounds, goals, and circumstances, and you have a strong belief in every student's potential to develop. Your teaching is structured, varied, and relational, and you collaborate well with colleagues. Requirements include being a certified high school teacher in mathematics and natural sciences and having experience teaching at the high school level. Experience teaching in introductory programs and familiarity with Schoolsoft and Teams are advantageous. Job responsibilities may include: • Teaching the high school subjects mathematics, natural sciences, and geography • Mentoring You participate in the school's regular workplace meetings and assemblies as well as parent meetings, development conferences, and special events.
