Gym Manager at STC Älmhult (Long-term Temporary Position)

We are now seeking a Gym Manager at 70% who wants to take responsibility for driving growth in one of our most important gyms in Älmhult and develop our leadership in line with our mission and values. Your Assignment As Gym Manager, you have overall responsibility for daily operations, service, and growth, and you report to the District Manager South. You are responsible for ensuring an excellent member experience, coaching and developing your team, and maintaining the gym to a high standard. Together with your team of gym attendants, you drive scheduling, staffing, and sales to inspire more people to get moving, though this does not include personnel management responsibilities. You also follow up on group fitness and personal training in close collaboration with your district manager and group training coordinator (GTA) as well as the central training manager. Your role is central to the gym's development and success, and you have a holistic perspective covering everything from daily operations to long-term growth and member satisfaction. Your role will be operationally active, where you are close to members to provide the best service. Please note that working hours will be scheduled during daytime, evening, and weekends. This means flexibility with working hours is a requirement for the position. You are expected to adapt to a varying schedule and be available for work at different times to meet operational needs and ensure a high level of service for our members. Who Are You? You also have a strong business understanding and the ability to identify growth opportunities, while always putting members' experience first. Requirements: Strong ability to work results-focused with emphasis on sales and member satisfaction. Experience with scheduling and personnel planning. Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. B driver's license. Merits: Experience working as a team lead, preferably within fitness, service, or retail. Experience leading and coaching staff.
