For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential and open care for children, youth and families, on-call and family homes, addiction care, supported apartments, initiatives against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS housing. We offer counseling and training as well as help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations. Hagen treatment home is located in Kullavik, two miles south of Gothenburg, and has two treatment units; Överhuset (7 places for youth 14-18 years old) and Nederhuset (6 places for children/youth 9-14 years old) with 24-hour operations. We are now seeking a treatment secretary for Nederhuset. You will be part of a staff group consisting of one treatment case manager, three treatment secretaries, and two treatment pedagogues with support from an assistant unit manager and unit manager in leadership. The position is a permanent, full-time appointment. Working hours are scheduled with irregular times including evenings and weekend work. A probationary period may apply. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES What does the position entail? As a treatment secretary, you will participate in treatment planning and perform qualified treatment work under supervision. You document, maintain contact with commissioners, guardians, schools, and other important people in the young person's network. You are involved in and contribute to the unit's development work. Since care and supervision are part of the work, it is important to be able to collaborate, be attentive, and flexible. Being a support for children in their daily routines is also an essential part of the work. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We are looking for someone with an academic degree such as social worker, social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education. Experience in social work with children in vulnerable life situations and good knowledge of legislation in the field is a merit. We are looking for someone who can work independently and in a team, is flexible and structured. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is a requirement as travel is part of the work. Employment type: Permanent. Duration: Indefinite. Working hours: Scheduled.
