We are now seeking an experienced and committed group leader! The Youth Unit consists of two groups with seven and six social workers respectively, plus two school coordinators. Each group has a group leader and is supervised by a unit manager. We work with children and young people between 13–20 years old. Meeting children, young people, and their families in conversation is an important part of the work. Our goal is to provide Skärholmen's residents with legally secure and good treatment in their contact with us. We actively work to make children and young people more involved in all different stages of contact with social services. We investigate and follow up on open care interventions and placements according to SoL and LVU. We strive for present management with support in daily work. The unit also has a placement coordinator and a methods developer. Your role We're seeking a committed group leader for one of our youth groups. Your task is to lead and distribute work among the social workers. With a coaching approach, you support employees in their work and roles. As a group leader, you are present in daily operations and drive case processing forward through active follow-up and dialogue. You ensure quality and legal security in case handling by guiding employees to work according to the BBIC structure and established procedures. Our goal is to work based on Signs of Safety's approach and tools. We will also increase the proportion of investigations structured according to SAVRY to ensure high quality in our assessments regarding young people at risk. You become an important part of the unit's management team and collaborate closely with the unit manager and other group leaders to coordinate and develop the unit's work. Your competence and experience For the position, a social work degree is required. To succeed well in the role of group leader, you need experience with authority exercising and management within children and youth. We're looking for you who has the ability to prioritize, make correct assessments, and make decisions in different situations. You have a strong interest in continuing to develop and improve working methods within social work together with the team. You need a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing as well as experience documenting and compiling decision support based on BBIC. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your manner. You have interest, willingness, and ability to help and establish contact with people in a vulnerable situation. You have the ability to both flexibly and independently drive work forward as well as in collaboration with your colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
