Dialogen is in an exciting development phase where the new Social Services Act and an expanded mandate to conduct more open care in-house create new opportunities to develop support for children, youth, and families. We are now looking for a group leader who wants to lead this work together with us. About the workplace Dialogen is one of five units within Children and Family and is organized under the Children and Education Administration in Falun Municipality. At Dialogen, family therapists, group leaders, and a unit manager work together to offer support services to children, youth, and families. The operation offers both advice and support without individual needs assessment as well as family treatment services based on assistance decisions. The assignment also includes collaboration with family centers and counseling services for children and youth as well as conducting group activities for parents, children, and young people. Work tasks As a group leader, you will share responsibility with a group leader colleague for leading, coordinating, and developing the work for a team of family therapists that grows with the operation's development. The team currently consists of approximately 17–20 employees. You are responsible for day-to-day management and work closely with the operation by leading and distributing work, holding case reviews and team meetings, and receiving, prioritizing, and assigning incoming assignments. The assignments consist of both assistance-assessed services and advice and support services. You are part of Dialogen's management team together with the unit manager and group leader colleague and actively contribute to the operation's planning, development, and follow-up. The role also includes following up on operational results and statistics, contributing to internal competence development, and developing and structuring the operation's group activities for children, youth, and parents. The work involves extensive collaboration with the Social Services authority's exercise of authority within children and family matters as well as with schools, child and student health services, and other important collaboration partners. As a group leader, you will have a central role in the ongoing development work where Dialogen strengthens and develops open care services to meet future needs. Qualifications The role requires: A degree in social work or other education the employer deems equivalent Experience working in social services' child and family activities or similar operations Experience with open care work, family treatment, or another role that has provided good knowledge of open care's mandate, working methods, and collaboration with authority exercise Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing Class B driver's license Personal qualities To succeed in this role, you need to be a secure and stable person who builds trust through your way of collaborating and communicating.
