Welcome to us At the Disability Services Procurement Unit, we work with investigating applications, making decisions, and following up on approved support according to the Social Services Act and the LSS (Services and Support Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) for children, young people, and adults with disabilities. The unit has 34 employees in roles such as benefits administrators, administrative staff, a coordinator for personal assistance, a contract administrator, three group leaders, and a unit manager. The unit is divided into three work groups: two adult groups and one children's group, each led by a group leader. Your role As a group leader you have full delegation authority and you are the closest work supervisor for the benefits administrators. You support the benefits administrators both in their decision-making and in their social work. You are responsible for daily work management, lead case discussions, are responsible for orienting new employees, distribute work in the group during absences, and are available to the work group. You represent the unit in various working groups and in collaboration both internally and externally. Together with the unit manager, you participate in operations planning, operations development, and recruitment. You are part of the management group together with the unit manager and the two other group leaders. Your competence and experience We're looking for someone who has a degree in social work or equivalent degree that, together with relevant work experience, is assessed by the employer as equivalent current and several years of experience working with administrative authority within disability services, both with child and adult cases according to both the Social Services Act and LSS at least two years of current experience leading a work group (for example, as deputy unit manager or group leader) experience with full delegation authority to make decisions for residential placements a good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience from work within social services and working in the Umbrella System in Stockholm experience of having worked as a service provider within social services experience from other operational areas within social services leadership training.
