In the treatment department, the task is also to offer treatment based on children and young people's individual needs and the social services' plans and assignments to SiS. Representation and, if deemed appropriate, on-call service is included in the position. Are you motivated by helping young people/clients in vulnerable life situations? As a group leader, you contribute to a safe and secure environment for both placed children and young people/clients and staff members. In the role, you actively work in the operational care and treatment work on the department. You are responsible for planning, operationally leading, and distributing the daily work. You act as a role model and promote that work is conducted fairly and in accordance with applicable guidelines, methods, and established goals. You keep the department manager on your unit continuously updated on matters that may affect the work environment, care and treatment environment, or shortcomings in operations. Introduction and mentoring of new employees is also part of your work. You are part of a team with the department manager and treatment secretary, and you will have close collaboration to create good results together. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in the group leader role, you are motivated by working with and helping people in vulnerable life situations. The operational work and interaction with young people/clients is your main focus. You are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work efficiently and are clear in your communication with others. At the same time, you are listening and affirming in your approach with young people/clients and staff members and good at building relationships. You have a professional approach and a good ability to collaborate and to understand others' perspectives. The work is sometimes challenging and requires that you are stable and remain calm even in stressful situations. You should also have: University degree of at least 180 credits with a focus on social sciences, healthcare, or behavioral sciences Several years of documented work experience from work within SiS or other operations with a focus on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, healthcare and treatment, correctional care, or other relevant operations.
