The Individual and Family Care Administration at Sandviken Municipality has a functionally organized structure. Within the administration's area of responsibility are child and youth services, addiction treatment, financial assistance and family law, as well as management and supervision under the Alcohol Act. The administration has a well-developed open care system for children, young people, and their families as well as for adults. We actively work to implement Signs of Safety across all parts of the administration. The Adult Services Unit is responsible for addiction issues and matters concerning violence in close relationships. The unit is in constant development and has in recent years introduced Housing First as a project. The unit also works intensively with interventions without means testing for open care. The unit employs a total of 23 people, and activities consist of five divisions: case handlers, group homes, open care clinic, low-threshold housing, and Housing First. At Individual and Family Care, you have good opportunities for professional development and are actively involved in the development of activities. We offer regular external group supervision. To balance the high demands placed on the administration's mandate for authority operations, we offer one hour of reflection time per working day. JOB DUTIES As a group leader, you will work together with the activities manager to lead and distribute the daily work of the unit. Daily work involves case allocation, case assignments, and preparations, as well as participating in shaping and driving business development. It also means taking responsibility for your own client cases. The duties as group leader are estimated to comprise half the position, with the other half devoted to your own cases. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience in social work and authority operations. It is a merit if you have experience working with addiction issues, violence in close relationships, and Signs of Safety. A valid driver's license is a requirement for the position.
