Group Leader for Housing Support in Ordinary Housing & Housing First We're expanding with one more group leader on the unit! We operate on behalf of commissioning units within Disability Services, Individual and Family Services, and Elderly Care. We provide support to people with various functional variations such as intellectual disabilities, psychiatric diagnoses, autism spectrum disorder and/or ADHD, harmful substance use and addiction, as well as comorbidities, who live in their own homes throughout Haninge municipality. Currently, the number of clients is approximately 556, including 13 Housing First placements. We're looking for another stable group leader who wants to contribute to a safe and high-quality service for people receiving housing support. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and distributing daily work for four teams with 7 housing support workers and approximately 6 temporary staff, as well as the Housing First team with 3 housing coaches who provide flexible and intensive support. Your responsibilities include ensuring that services are delivered according to applicable procedures and legislation. You work closely with the unit manager and have an important function in monitoring incidents, deviations, and quality work according to our systematic quality management system. As a group leader, you're a pedagogical role model and work with professional interaction. You participate in planning and monitoring routines, action plans, and documentation, and are responsible for introducing new employees and temporary staff. The role also includes scheduling, personnel planning, staffing, and participation in recruitment. You conduct meetings with staff, commissioners, and family members and actively contribute to service development. You conduct initial visits/home visits when we receive new assignments from commissioners. You may also provide housing support in special cases, such as when temporary staffing isn't possible in other ways but the need is necessary to meet. Your role as group leader is based on LSS and SoL, where the guiding principles for how services are provided are self-determination, influence, accessibility, participation, continuity, and holistic perspective. The goal is for the person to receive the support they need to live as independently as possible with good quality of life. As a group leader, you have an important task to: Lead and distribute daily work together with the unit manager Be a pedagogical role model for staff Coordinate/monitor services and maintain structure and routines in the operation Contribute to a good work environment Here's what we're looking for in you: At least 8–10 years of experience working with people who have been granted housing support in ordinary housing according to SoL Adequate education for the field, e.g., social worker, social pedagogue, or other education AND experience that the employer considers equivalent Very strong communication skills, both in meetings with people and in writing Digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions You're a flexible and stable person with an empathetic approach Experience with scheduling (preferably in Medvind) and staffing matters Experience leading others in teamwork You're results-oriented and ensure good quality in the delivery of support and service, and have the ability to make well-considered prioritizations in work for both yourself and staff Knowledge and experience in work methods such as: low-affect interaction, clarifying pedagogy, ESL (An Independent Life), MI, IBIC, challenging behavior, and equivalent B-class driver's license Meritorious: Knowledge and experience working in management systems such as Lifecare, Proceedo, Medvind Work with Housing First (in a leadership or operational capacity) We place great importance on personal suitability, and it is essential that you can collaborate with others in the team, clients, guardians/administrators, and other partners.
