We are now looking for a Group Manager at LFV NMC to lead our team of Systems Engineers in the Network (IP & Transmission) field. NMC, Network Management Center, is part of LFV's DUS operations (Operations, Maintenance and Support) and is located in new modern facilities in Gothenburg. We hold specialist expertise in IP Networks & Transmission as well as IT Infrastructure and Data Centers. NMC is also responsible for LFV's NOC which provides 24/7 monitoring services, 365 days a year. About the position As Group Manager, you will have a central role in the operations. You will lead the group with close management where you serve as a sounding board for both operational and personnel-related matters. The group consists of approximately 15 Systems Engineers with various specialist competencies in IP and Transmission. Your main responsibilities: • Lead and ensure the development of the group where you promote an inclusive and positive work environment • Personnel and financial responsibility • Training plans and competency development • Ensure that routines and processes are followed • Ensure efficient resource allocation • Participate in management meetings • Cohesion within LFV for working methods within the group's area of responsibility • Responsible for customer delivery in accordance with agreements Who are you? We are looking for someone with: • Technical university education, preferably with focus on network infrastructure and data communication or equivalent • Previous management experience with employees with high technical expertise • Experience from customer-related work. Experience from operations with high operational reliability requirements is a merit. • Experience handling difficult conversations • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written • A merit if you have worked in a larger operations organization We value a strong and empathetic leader who stands up for our values and helps them permeate the work in the group.
