Group Manager - Project Office

Do you want to lead project managers in an operation with complex and socially important assignments? At LFV, you'll have an important role where you create the conditions for successful projects within areas such as technology, safety, and air traffic services. We are now seeking a group manager for our project office as one of our current managers is moving on to a new role within LFV. The Project Office at LFV At the project office, we lead complex and socially important projects within areas such as air traffic management, IT and IT security, preparedness and security, digitalization, Remote Tower, and communication, navigation, and surveillance systems (CNS). We are responsible for assigning project managers to LFV projects as well as developing and streamlining project methodology and working approaches. The project office currently consists of approximately 25 employees in roles such as project managers, portfolio managers, and data analysts. Your Role As a group manager, you will lead and develop one of our two groups of project managers. The group currently consists of eight employees and two consultants. You have personnel and budget responsibility and are part of the project office's management team. This role suits you if you want to combine close-up leadership with strategic work. You'll have the opportunity to develop both employees and working methods together with an engaged project office. In this role, you will, among other things: Create conditions for project managers to succeed in their assignments Communicate and follow up on changed working methods as well as new requirements and expectations on the operation Resource plan project managers within two of LFV's portfolios Follow up, analyze, and report on the operation's status and results The group is currently based in Sturup, Norrköping, and Arlanda, which means the position involves a certain amount of travel. Your Profile We are seeking a group manager who builds trust, establishes good relationships, and helps people grow together. You are responsive, have good self-awareness, and adapt your leadership style based on situation and individual. Through close collaboration, clear communication, and an engaging approach, you create participation and lead the group toward common goals. You thrive in a role where you alternate between supporting employees, collaborating with the operation, and contributing to the project office's development. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Have post-secondary education with a technical focus or equivalent work experience Have experience from a leadership role Have several years of experience in project management, preferably within technical operations Have experience working according to a well-known project model, preferably PPS Express yourself fluently in Swedish and English in speech and writing Are a Swedish citizen Additional Information The position is a permanent employment with placement in Norrköping or Sturup. Before employment, LFV conducts a security clearance that includes, among other things, registry checks, security interviews, and drug testing. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
