Group Manager of Operational Procurement

Your Role As Group Manager of Operational Procurement, you will have the opportunity to combine leadership, operations development, and change management. You will lead a team of approximately 13 employees at multiple locations and play an important role in developing both people and working methods within the newly formed Procurement Servicedesk section. Together, you will ensure effective and high-quality procurement support to the business, while contributing to increased business value, efficiency, and sustainable results. In the role, you will, among other things: Lead, coach, and develop the team toward common goals and high performance Establish and further develop working methods, processes, and procedures within Procurement Servicedesk Responsible for the development and management of procurement flows linked to the IFS business system Drive improvement initiatives focused on digitalization, automation, and efficiency Build strong collaborations with the business and related functions such as finance, supply chain, and the ordering organization Monitor operations through relevant key metrics and ensure continuous improvements You report to the Section Manager and are part of the management group for procurement within the Iron Ore business area, where you contribute to the long-term development of the procurement operation. You have the ability to combine the business's needs with a long-term development perspective and are motivated by driving change together with others. As a person, you are communicative, collaboration-oriented, and have an easy time building trust in different contexts.
