About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is expanding – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding existing ones, and we are now seeking additional staff members. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation services, remand facilities, and client transport. Job Description As Group Manager for the Staff Protection and Client Safety team, you are responsible for driving and directing the agency's staff protection efforts with an operational on-call service (daytime) providing support to local managers as well as risk assessments and corresponding measures. You are also responsible for establishing security-related assessments for clients with particularly high security and/or protection needs regarding placement and transport. You will also develop training programs for staff working with or around clients with particularly high security needs. You will lead an operation where you work both strategically and tactically while also addressing day-to-day operational issues and making quick decisions. The work also includes collaboration within the agency as well as with our partners, such as the Police Authority. The role includes responsibility for personnel, budget, and work environment management. Staff members are located in Norrköping, Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg. Travel is part of the position.
