Learn more about us at www.byggbeslag.se About the Role We are now seeking a Group Manager for our office in Uppsala, responsible for the regions of Linköping, Norrköping, and Uppsala. The ideal location for this position is Uppsala, although frequent travel to Linköping and Norrköping is part of the role. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient and well-functioning daily operations within construction production through clear priorities and good planning. As Group Manager, you coordinate resources and lead and support technicians and project managers in their work. The role therefore involves remote leadership and requires an engaged person who is active, present in the field, and has a strong ability to build relationships and follow up even though the team is geographically dispersed. A central part of the assignment is also to ensure that projects are completed with good profitability and achieve margin targets. Examples of Responsibilities: Personnel responsibility for currently eight technicians and two project managers Responsibility for staffing the optimal project organization for each assignment Daily planning and coordination Prioritization of assignments and resources Ensure quality and process compliance Continuously monitor and evaluate project finances, invoicing, and time reporting Develop employees Act as an escalation point Ensure documentation and follow-up Responsible for correct handling of complaints during ongoing production Actively contribute to developing and streamlining project operations, provide improvement suggestions and insights. The position is a permanent full-time employment with Byggbeslag. As Group Manager, you report to the Production Manager for Projects. The role includes travel and overnight stays. We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education in, for example, economics/construction or equivalent work experience. We believe you have previous experience in roles such as Work Leader, Project Manager, Site Manager, or similar within construction projects. This means you have knowledge of construction contracting, its regulations, and processes. Great emphasis will be placed on leadership, and we are looking for a person with the ability to engage and build a strong team on our development journey. Since the role involves remote leadership, we would like you to have experience with this. We are also looking for a driven person who wants to contribute to development.
