As Operations Group Manager, you will work closely with our customers, society, and stakeholders. About the Position We are in the midst of an exciting growth journey where we are significantly increasing our investments in the power grid. The Operations Group is part of the Planning & Operations unit and plays a central role in ensuring the operation of our electrical installations. Within the group you will find Gotlands Elnät's Operations Center, operations and maintenance of the Gotland transmission line, and installation information. As group manager for Operations, you will take on several exciting and developmental tasks, including responsibility for the group's operational mission with both qualitative and quantitative targets. You will lead and motivate a group of approximately 20 employees, consisting of technicians, operators, and specialists. As group manager you will: Lead the development of work practices for the Operations Group Drive improvements in processes and work practices for Operations Implement initiatives to modernize and digitalize the group's work Promote safety efforts and enable personal competency development for employees Requirements Specification We are looking for someone who has: Academic education in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience Management experience where you have actively worked with employee and team development Experience with operational matters, preferably from the power grid industry or similar, is a merit Experience working in larger organizations, which requires the ability to work in a process-oriented manner Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and verbal As a person, you are driven by developing both people and work practices. You have the ability to create and implement structure and insight into how processes can be improved and developed. You have the ability to build effective teams by promoting dialogue and collaboration within the group and establishing shared goals. It is important that you are concerned with work environment issues and understand the importance of safety, as we build critical infrastructure and these aspects are central to everything we do.
