There are also three regional units: the operational unit, the intelligence unit, and the investigation unit, a regional administrative office, and national departments represented in the region to support police operations. Police District Jämtland is one of the police districts in Police Region North. The geographic area encompasses eight municipalities. Police District Jämtland is divided into two local police districts: Östersund and Jämtland/Härjedalen. At the police district level, there is an investigation section and a police district administrative office. Local Police District Östersund is part of Police District Jämtland. Within the local police district, there are response and crime prevention activities, investigation teams, as well as support and services. 1 position(s). DUTIES As chief of BF-IGV, you report to the local police district chief and are part of LPO Östersund's management team, where you together are responsible for carrying out assignments and driving the agency's change and development work. You have special responsibility for BF/IGV operations and its results. As group chief, you represent the entire Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen confidence in police operations. QUALIFICATIONS This is an opportunity for you who have: • at least 6 months of continuous experience working as a supervisor, project manager, or similar • experience participating in change and development work • experience with crime prevention and response operations • a police degree according to Regulation (2014:1105) on police education We consider it a merit if you additionally have: • experience leading others toward set goals and results • participation in management forums • management and leadership training at direct, indirect, and/or strategic level • other training relevant to the function, such as leadership fundamentals, operational leadership, EFP training (search for missing persons) • experience participating in/driving cooperation with societal actors outside the police organization/your own organization When we hire, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities and leadership abilities.
