Group Manager - Facility Engineering

Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for Stockholmers, and we are approximately 850 employees working every day to reduce Stockholm's climate impact. We heat over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300-mile-long district heating network is the hub for the public benefits we create. We have now begun construction of a carbon dioxide capture facility at our bioenergy power plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year—more than Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period. Do you want to take comprehensive control of facility lifecycles while leading the development of modern and efficient maintenance work? In your role as group manager, you are responsible for ensuring stable and optimized facility performance through structured and forward-thinking maintenance work. You work strategically with a time horizon of several years ahead and with continuous focus on balancing cost, risk, and performance. As part of the Technical and Maintenance group, you translate overarching goals into concrete activities and drive implementation together with your organization. You lead and develop maintenance work from a clear asset perspective where lifecycle optimization is central. You are responsible for planning and developing preventive maintenance while initiating and driving facility changes from need through implemented solution. You are also responsible for the operation delivering high quality, a good work environment, and strong delivery capacity. You work actively with suppliers and procurement while ensuring that finances are in balance through budget responsibility and long-term forecasting. An important part of the role is analyzing facility history and status to enable data-driven decisions that strengthen facility development over time. As a leader, you have personnel responsibility for a team of approximately 5–15 engineers. Requirements Category B driver's license. Swedish citizenship. Technical college or equivalent education combined with work experience relevant to the role. Experience working as a manager/leader.
