As an ambulance nurse at Falck's ambulance operations, you will encounter an exciting and varied environment where you get to use the full breadth of your professional knowledge and skills. As a nurse, you have medical responsibility in the ambulance and make medical priorities and decide on care and medical measures based on patient needs. All of this happens in close teamwork with a colleague, where your collaboration and knowledge exchange are crucial to ensuring the best possible patient care.
Qualifications:
Licensed nurse with at least 2 years of experience in ambulance or acute care, or alternatively inpatient care
B-level driver's license with good driving experience
Good physical ability as heavy patient lifting occurs, and able to swim 200 meters in any style
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious:
Experience from ambulance or acute care, anesthesia, intensive care, or district nursing
C1 driver's license
Prehospital Emergency Care Management (PS)
Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

Other information:
Permanent employment beginning with a 6-month probationary period starting January 2027. Service level according to agreement.
Placement: Your work area is Östergötland. Indicate in your application which of our stations you are most interested in being based at. Open positions exist in Motala and Kisa. An alternative is a pool position, which means service at all our stations in Östergötland—Kisa, Åtvidaberg, Ödeshög, Mjölby, Linköping, Motala.
We view positively applicants from the entire region, for example those who can consider commuting from places like Tranås, Eksjö, or Västervik.
The recruitment process includes several steps, including interview, physical test, and driving test. We also conduct background checks in the form of IVO/SoS checks and extracts from the police criminal record registry. Documentation of swimming ability will be requested.
