Kungsgårdens School is a grades K-5 school with approximately 150 students and around 25 staff members. The school has proximity to forest, nature, and Lake Storsjön, which we utilize in teaching and outdoor activities. With us, we make each other better. You will participate in the school's development work regarding digitalization, values-based work, learning matrices, and language-developing approaches. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating instruction according to the school's governing documents. The assignment involves creating an accessible learning environment where students' curiosity and desire to learn are valued. You contribute by: • Stimulating students' development and learning based on their individual needs • Creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues • Being a clear and trustworthy role model for students • Actively working for an inclusive and safe school environment • Collaborating in teams to develop instruction We make each other better by: • Sharing knowledge and experiences in collegial forums • Supporting each other in daily work • Having an open and solution-focused approach • Working with the student at the center QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role, you need good pedagogical insight and understanding of how students learn in different ways. You have an easy way of building trusting relationships and contribute to a safe and accessible learning environment. Responsiveness and collaboration skills are important qualities in collegial work, where teaching is developed together. A structured work approach facilitates planning and follow-up, while flexibility allows you to handle changing needs and see opportunities in new situations. An inclusive approach permeates your work and creates good conditions for all students. The assignment requires: • Teacher certification with authorization to teach grades K-3. • Good knowledge of elementary school's governing documents • Good Swedish language skills, both oral and written Good IT competence and experience using digital tools are merits.
