We are looking for a textile teacher who wants to become part of our school and our engaged team, and who wants to develop crafts together with your colleagues. In your role as a textile crafts teacher, you will participate in a collaborative effort where we at the school jointly plan and are responsible for students' education and development. The focus is on creating the best conditions for every student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in textile crafts in grade 3, where you educate and support students in their academic and social development. You challenge students to take their own initiative, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. At Glasbruksskolan, you are offered opportunities for professional development based on your own interests and together with others. You work in a modern crafts studio and will, in addition to your team of teachers, after-school program instructors, and student support staff, also be part of a working group with practical-aesthetic teachers. You are led by a manager who believes in a collaborative relationship characterized by dialogue and trust. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with authorization to teach crafts in grade 3. If you have experience working in textile crafts, we see that as a merit. If you have experience with other pedagogical work in elementary school, we also see that as a merit. You are well familiar with the school's governing documents and have a strong ability to put those documents into practice, as well as a reflective approach to your practice. You are good at creating positive and trustworthy relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical abilities and can therefore lead and organize your work to create an orderly and good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Glasbruksskolan is a grades F-6 school with approximately 550 students, and the principal's area also includes Skolan på Ön. The after-school program is integrated with the school.
