Ref: 20261845 Job Responsibilities Malmö Sports Primary School is seeking an employee for a permanent position in textile crafts at 100%. Our activities are located in brand new facilities in the Stadium Area. We are currently looking for you—a teacher for grades 7-9 with certification in textile crafts—to join Malmö Sports Primary School. As a teacher at Malmö Sports Primary School, you will be part of a team of teachers who together plan and are responsible for students' education and development, and who decide on any needs for such things as subject integration or project studies in your classes. Your focus will be on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in grades 7-9 in textile crafts, educating and supporting them in their social and academic development. You will challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. Therefore, you will be given, together with your colleagues, influence in the operations. Your role includes mentoring some of our students. As a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, giving you the opportunity to follow them more closely in their academic development and personal maturation. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated on the student's academic development through regular development meetings. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with certification for teaching grades 7-9 in textile crafts, or equivalent experience. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we consider that a merit. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. You also have good didactic and pedagogical ability and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive study environment and good learning atmosphere for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and practice, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. As a person, you have a professional approach and work for good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at school.
