Ref: 20261924 Job Duties We are now looking for you, a teacher for grades 7-9 with credentials in Science and Technology, to join Linnéskolan! You will teach Science in grades 7 and 9, as well as Technology to two classes in grade 8. The position includes mentorship responsibilities in grade 7. As a middle school teacher at Linnéskolan, your duties include planning, implementation, and follow-up of instruction, as well as assessment of student learning outcomes. You will evaluate and develop pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents, student needs and abilities, both individually and collaboratively with subject and grade-level teams. You conduct well-established, creative instruction and develop strategies to reach every student and support them in both academic development and personal growth. In this role, you collaborate with other school staff to create a positive learning and work environment for both students and staff, and actively participate in the school's development initiatives. Qualifications We are seeking a qualified and licensed teacher with credentials in Science and Technology for grades 7-9. It is advantageous if you have prior experience working as a teacher and if you hold credentials in Mathematics for grades 7-9. You are clear in your leadership and skilled at communication. You have strong didactic and pedagogical abilities and a thorough understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents, which you can apply effectively in your daily work. You take an investigative approach to your practice and adapt instruction based on the needs of your student groups. You can lead and organize your work to create a focused and positive learning environment for our students throughout their school day. You have the ability to develop your instruction based on evidence-based research and have good experience with and knowledge of digital tools.
