Ref: 20261952 Job Responsibilities You will be part of a teaching team where you work together to plan and oversee students' education and development, and decide on any needs such as subject integration or project-based studies in your classes. Your focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trustworthy environment. You will educate and support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiative, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. Your role also includes mentorship for a number of students. As a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, giving you the opportunity to follow their academic progress and personal development more closely. As a mentor, you will keep students' guardians informed about their academic development through regular development meetings and continuous dialogue. Additionally, you will have some coordinating responsibility related to the school's graduations and other celebrations. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with credentials to teach music in grades 3-9. Previous experience working as a teacher is considered a merit. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. You have strong didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore organize and lead your work to create a productive study environment and good learning conditions for our students throughout their school day. Previous experience teaching through language and knowledge development methods is a merit, as is familiarity with genre pedagogy. Previous experience using the CPS model is also considered a merit. You can develop your work based on evidence-based research, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools.
