Ref: 20261773 Responsibilities Högaholmsskolan is seeking an elementary teacher for our grades 1-3 team with subject qualifications in Swedish/Swedish as a second language/mathematics/social studies/natural sciences/English. Together with your teaching colleagues, you plan, assess, and evaluate instruction, thereby contributing to the development of our pedagogical activities. Through close collaboration with shared routines and structures, you and your colleagues create a sense of security and an conducive learning environment for our students. Qualifications We are looking for you, a certified teacher with credentials to teach in the lower grades in the subjects Swedish/Swedish as a second language/mathematics/social studies/natural sciences/English. You have strong knowledge of language-development teaching methods, reading instruction, and how to develop students' literacy skills. Previous teaching experience is a merit. The position requires excellent Swedish in both speech and writing. You have solid insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. You also possess strong didactic and pedagogical abilities, enabling you to lead and organize your work to create a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your practice and draw support from various learning resources in your teaching. About the Workplace Located in green Lindängen, Högaholmsskolan is an F–6 school with approximately 450 students. In January 2024, we opened Högaholmsskolan in new, beautiful facilities.
