Pilträdsskolan is an independent school with approximately 300 students that emphasizes knowledge, security, and each student's unique value. The school was founded in 1994 and offers instruction in grades F-9 as well as after-school activities. Adjacent to the school is Pilträdets preschool for children ages 1-5. The school is operated by Stiftelsen Källan in Västerås and is located in Vallby. We are now seeking an inspiring teacher who, together with us, wants to shape the future and contribute to a meaningful school experience for our students. We require that you have a teaching degree and experience working in elementary school. Teacher certification is a merit. We also see that you are familiar with the curriculum, course syllabi, the Swedish National Agency for Education's guidelines, and elementary school operations. You are responsible, independent, take own initiatives, and have strong collaborative skills. As a teacher with us, you will collaborate, plan, and evaluate instruction in consultation with colleagues and students. You are skilled at and interested in continuously developing leadership and stimulation, as well as making individual adaptations in your teaching. We actively work with motivating and value-creating instruction. Your duties also include mentoring and communication with parents/guardians. You have good computer skills. You also have a genuine interest in working with student development and learning, see possibilities, are flexible, dare to try new approaches, and have strong experience collaborating.
