Elementary School Administration Seeking Cooks for the Center

We are now seeking cooks for two of our production kitchens in Center 3 Meals, which includes Sanna School, Kungsladugård School, Karl-Johan School, Fjäll School, Oskar Fredriksson School, and Nordhem School. Duties As a cook with us, you will be part of a team that collaborates and supports each other to serve a delicious menu that increases our students' enjoyment of meals. You will prepare and serve between 400–1000 portions that must be tasty and nutritious. Your work includes preparing special diets, managing salad buffets, dishwashing, ordering supplies, quality control, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and school cafeteria. We want to reduce our environmental impact and therefore strive to prepare more meals from scratch, serve a large portion of vegetarian meals, and work to reduce food waste. For us, it's not just about preparing and serving meals, but doing it with heart—having an interest in food and service. We offer you a developmental assignment where your experience and passion for cooking contribute to a better everyday life for our guests. Work is performed daytime, Monday through Friday. Qualifications We are looking for someone with formal culinary training and several years of documented professional experience. You have strong knowledge of special diets and experience with food safety and quality control. To be able to administer orders, you need to have sufficient IT skills. It is a merit if you have experience working in a production kitchen with large volumes of over 500 portions. It is also a merit if you have experience with environmentally sustainable meals. We are looking for a team player who contributes to developing the operation, following our guidelines, and helping achieve set goals. It is important that you can meet our meal guests in a friendly manner with good service. We place great emphasis on your ability to build good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues working at the school. You adapt easily and adjust your working methods based on changing circumstances and new information. You can quickly shift your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in change. Furthermore, you act independently based on what the situation requires without needing support from others. By being interested and showing understanding for others, you promote a respectful work environment. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and you make an effort to present solutions. You are balanced, positive, and attentive in your interactions with guests. Since you meet our guests daily, have contact with the school, suppliers, and other partners, and handle administrative orders, you must speak Swedish fluently, both in writing and orally.
