We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 elementary schools, adapted elementary education, Nyköping Gymnasium, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is developing rapidly with unprecedented construction activity, more people are choosing to move here, and our school organization is growing. We are now recruiting a principal for elementary school, grades K-6. In Nyköping Municipality's preschools, elementary schools, and upper secondary schools, comprehensive development work is underway toward the goal of Sweden's Best School 2030, with a School Development Plan in place to guide us toward that objective. Our K-9 organization consists of 17 elementary schools and adapted elementary education divided into 10 different principal districts. Each principal district has a principal, assistant principals, and a student welfare team with various professionals. With schools in rural and urban areas, we work to increase equity and integration within and between schools, as well as strengthen quality in municipal elementary education. This means giving all students—regardless of school—the same opportunities for education and development. Recent focus has been on developing a systematic quality improvement plan with emphasis on language development, mathematics, attendance, and core values. It is important to us that both at the leadership level and operational level, time is dedicated to addressing our shared priorities. Therefore, each school has scheduled conference time weekly for professional development, development work, collaboration projects, and more. About the Principal District School District D currently consists of Släbro, Råby, and Stigtomta schools. Släbro currently operates from two school buildings that will be consolidated into one new building opening in early 2027. The district is led by 1 principal and 4 assistant principals. All principals in the K-9 system are part of the elementary school leadership team (GLL), led by the school directors. The GLL also includes two coordination managers and a quality development specialist who provide support to operations. 1 position(s).
