Area A includes the schools Nävekvarns School, Herrhagsskolan, Buskhyttans School, and Långsätters School. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are now seeking a certified elementary teacher for after-school program at Nävekvarns School. Your teaching should be characterized by an inclusive learning environment with high student engagement. You should have strong leadership qualities, excellent relational competence, and a willingness to critically reflect on your own teaching and, together with colleagues, have the courage to challenge and develop work for students' benefit toward higher goal achievement. We work to develop reading and movement with the help of our lead teachers in the area, and you are expected to participate in this work and apply what you learn in practice with the students. You will be part of the after-school team and will have close collaboration with teachers and students in grades 2 and 3, class 23. QUALIFICATIONS You hold a certified elementary teacher degree for after-school programs. You have the ability to drive development forward through a language and knowledge-building approach. You view school development and systematic quality work as an important process in your daily work and as part of the school's and educators' mission. You are a present and co-inquiring teacher who challenges and stimulates students toward development. A strong belief in teamwork and collegial learning as a success factor for pedagogical development is self-evident for you. For this position, it is important that you have strong collaboration skills, as your work requires continuous cooperation with other colleagues and professions within the school. It also requires that you have excellent relational competence to create secure groups and good cooperation with guardians. It is an advantage if you are versatile and creative and can conduct various activities with imagination and clarity. The position requires that you have a strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written. As of December 1, 2013, teacher certification is required for permanent employment.
