JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is primarily aimed at you who are a teacher with a focus on after-school programs, but also for you who are a primary school teacher and can imagine working in an after-school setting.
Would you like to help create a cohesive experience throughout the students' school day? We are seeking an engaged teacher for our after-school program who wants to contribute to a safe, creative, and educational environment where school and after-school activities work together to strengthen student development. At Högsätra School, we work in smaller classes with high staff-to-student ratios and strong collegial collaboration. You are a clear pedagogical leader who sees the value in student influence, movement, and teaching both indoors and outdoors.
You actively work with:
• Planning and implementing instruction based on students' needs, interests, and experiences.
• Fostering students' imagination, interaction, movement, and creativity through aesthetic expression and practical exploration.
• Collaborating with primary school teachers during the school day and contributing to continuity in students' learning.
• Participating in joint planning and development of the after-school program together with colleagues and the assistant principal.
• Building strong relationships with guardians and participating in progress meetings, preferably in collaboration with preschool class or primary school.
QUALIFICATIONS
For this role, you need to be a qualified primary teacher with a focus on after-school programs. Certification in music is a merit.
