About the role and your responsibilities As an elementary school teacher in after-school care, you work pedagogically and socially based on the program's goals and guidelines. You plan, implement, and follow up on instruction in accordance with current governing documents and actively work to develop after-school care activities. Together with your team, you are responsible for creating a safe environment for students, both during school hours and in after-school care. What we're looking for We are seeking a certified elementary school teacher in after-school care. Previous experience in the profession is a plus. You should be able to translate modern pedagogical theory into practical work and be well familiar with school and after-school care governing documents. Together with your colleagues, you create a positive work climate through a professional approach and strong collaboration skills. We expect you to have a positive view of students and always prioritize the program and the student first. You care about building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You can organize your work, are confident, and solution-focused. In your work, you should be able to document and express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing.
