Ref: 20261877 Job Duties We are looking for an elementary teacher in after-school care at Gullviks School! As an elementary teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for planning and implementing instruction as well as systematic quality work in the after-school program. You contribute to creating a goal-directed, stimulating, and varied pedagogical after-school activity based on the curriculum and other governing documents. As an elementary teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for promoting student development and learning and finding strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal development. Elementary teachers in after-school care should offer students meaningful leisure time and promote diverse social contacts, social community, and strengthen group relationships. During school hours, our after-school care teachers collaborate with the school. The role includes either collaboration with the school or instruction in one or more subjects. At Gullviks School, all activities work toward the goal of creating safety and academic focus in all our programs. Qualifications You applying for this position must have a teaching degree and certification with authorization to teach in after-school care. It is a merit if you have experience working in school and as an elementary teacher in after-school care or as a leisure-time pedagogue. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and knowledge of how to apply them in your daily work. Good knowledge of didactic and pedagogical ability that allows you to independently lead and organize your work to create academic focus and a good learning environment for our students throughout the day. You can develop your teaching based on evidence-based research and you have good knowledge of digital tools.
