Ref: 20261946 Job Responsibilities Söderkullaskolan is now seeking you – a licensed primary school teacher for after-school programs (grades F-4) who is engaged, interested in after-school pedagogy, collegial, and confident in your leadership. You will be part of an engaged team of educators where we together plan, implement, and follow up on students' education and development based on the after-school program's curriculum. In this role, you have specific pedagogical responsibility for the department where you primarily work. As a trained primary school teacher in the after-school program, you are expected to participate in one of our three development groups. These focus on improvement and development work for the entire after-school program at Söderkullaskolan. We work to create the best conditions for each student's learning and development in a safe environment. We actively collaborate with the school's student support team regarding our accessible learning environment in the after-school program. We work so that students get a continuous thread throughout their entire school day with us. During school hours, you collaborate with our school staff, and it may also be relevant for you to teach in a subject during the students' schooling. Together, we create an operation that meets our students and guardians in the best way based on their individual needs. Working hours are between 6:15 AM and 5:30 PM. You are expected to be able to open and close the after-school program. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained and licensed as a primary school teacher in after-school programs. Experience with language development work methods and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing are considered advantageous. It is also beneficial if you have visual arts or music as a secondary subject. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's and after-school program's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good pedagogical ability and strong leadership both inside and outside the classroom, which enables you to lead and organize your work to create study calm and a good learning environment for all our students.
