Group Financial Controller for Listed Company

About the Role As Group Financial Controller, you will work with the consolidation and controlling of financial reporting from the company's group companies. You will work closely with the group's all subsidiaries around the world, with the company's global shared service organization, and with other departments within Group Finance. Together with your team of seven people, you will provide advice to the group on complex accounting matters and serve as a point of contact for colleagues in the company regarding reporting and group consolidation systems. You hold an important role in contributing to the company's strategy for driving efficiency and developing processes and methods. You will report to the company's Financial Controlling Director, who works very closely with the team. The position is located at the company's headquarters in central Stockholm. Your Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements within specified timeframes Final adjustments and other consolidation tasks such as reconciliation and analysis of reporting from subsidiaries in the company's consolidation system Aaro Internal matching and elimination of internal transactions Reconciliation of the group's equity Cash flow reporting Monitoring of restructuring projects Preparation of financial statements and notes in interim/financial/annual reports Educate and proactively support the group's business units on accounting and reporting matters Participate in the implementation of new IFRS standards Drive and participate in various group projects Who Are You? To thrive and succeed in this role, you are analytical, driven, and interested in digital development. You have a genuine interest in consolidated accounting with experience in preparing financial statements in medium to large organizations. Experience from international organizations is a plus. You enjoy working both independently and with others. Through trust, respect, and integrity, you build strong relationships, and you are motivated by inspiring and engaging people around you. About You • University degree in economics, accounting, business administration, or equivalent relevant field • At least 5 years of combined experience in financial controlling, audit, or accounting • Experience working with consolidation systems is advantageous • Fluent in both English and Swedish, spoken and written You will be offered attractive benefits at an international group with large-scale operations.
