The Culture Administration has approximately 800 employees working primarily in libraries, cultural centers, museums, and other cultural activities. About the position Röhsska Museum is Sweden's museum for design, crafts, and form. Through exhibitions, programs, and collections, the museum aims to inspire new perspectives on design and form, both historical and contemporary. We are now seeking a graphic designer who wants to contribute to making the museum's content accessible, clear, and visually coherent for our visitors. In this role, you will be responsible for designing accessible text and graphic form for the museum's physical and digital signage. You will drive the graphic production through the entire process—from concept, design, and original artwork to ordering and finished product. The work includes producing information signs according to the museum's graphic profile, developing new graphic design for exhibitions, and creating materials for public programs and the shop. You will have close contact with printing companies and be responsible for ensuring that materials and production meet high quality standards and accessibility requirements. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, communications specialists, and shop coordinators, where you contribute your expertise throughout the production process. This is a permanent position at 80 percent with working hours during daytime. Qualifications We are looking for someone with: Relevant education in graphic design or similar field Experience adapting text and graphic form for accessibility in public environments Experience collaborating with printing companies and understanding of printing processes and production Good knowledge of materials Strong skills in Microsoft Office, InDesign, and Photoshop Experience working with large-format printers and plotting machines It is advantageous if you have: Experience in graphic production within museum, cultural, or exhibition work Experience with signage programs or exhibition graphics in public environments Who thrives in this role?
