Accounting Manager at Götenehus

About the role
As Accounting Manager, you will have a central role in the finance function with significant individual responsibility. You work closely with your colleagues and are a key person in the company's financial reporting and development of accounting processes.
You will also be a key player in Götenehus' continued development and get to help create a modern finance function 2.0. Together with colleagues in finance and other departments, you drive the development of work methods, processes, and decision support in an organization characterized by growth and change.
Responsibilities
Independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements and accompanying report packages
Together with the Finance Manager and Controller, be responsible for the group's annual reports
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
Conduct cost and profitability analyses to support business decisions
Ensure correct group consolidation and reporting in accordance with IFRS, K3, or other applicable regulations
Responsible for VAT and tax declarations
Be the contact person with auditors
Support audits and quality assure financial reports
Drive and own improvement initiatives within procedures, processes, and system support
Contribute to the development of more efficient work methods in the accounting area
Provide strategic advice on complex accounting matters
Your profile
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Relevant post-secondary education in accounting/finance
Several years of experience in qualified accounting work
Very strong knowledge of group accounting and the IFRS/K3 regulations
Very good system skills and advanced Excel knowledge
Experience with ERP systems (preferably Monitor or similar)
Your personal characteristics are marked by being analytical and structured with a good understanding of business. You communicate clearly but also have the ability to explain complex matters in a simple way. You will be part of a team of four people where everyone takes initiative and is responsible for their stated areas of responsibility, but where people are also willing to help each other when needed. Last but not least, you must enjoy and be driven by working with development and improvement.
Scope: The position is a permanent employment and is full-time (Monday–Friday)
Compensation: Monthly salary
