Or perhaps you have worked as a lawyer specializing in information security issues? As a Cybersecurity Inspector, you will participate in our oversight of critical activities in the transport sector, according to the Cybersecurity Act. The tasks consist of reviewing management systems and assessing network and information systems at operators. An important role we have as a public authority is to be able to provide guidance to the industry. There you will provide support on cybersecurity issues through, for example, oversight, meetings or lectures. In the role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in international working groups and collaborate with other member states.
Our section is in a development phase and is characterized by curiosity, challenges and collaboration. Depending on your expertise, you will be able to contribute and develop our oversight to a great extent!
Travel with overnight stays in Sweden is part of the position.

You will
conduct cybersecurity oversight together with the team
work with guidance to the industry
participate in environmental monitoring activities
participate in collaboration groups both within the authority and with other supervisory authorities.
You must have
relevant university or college education of at least 180 hp/120 credits in an area suitable for the position, such as security, IT or other post-secondary education combined with relevant work experience that Transportstyrelsen deems equivalent
at least two years of practical experience in what we consider to be a relevant area for the position, for example in cybersecurity, information security or work with management systems
very good ability to express yourself both in writing and orally in Swedish
good ability to express yourself both in writing and orally in English
B-class driver's license.
It is meritorious if you also have
worked with implementing management systems for information security according to ISO 27000 series
experience with oversight
practical experience with qualified audits, reviews or investigations
practical application of NIS regulations
certification in information and cybersecurity
experience from work in the transport sector
legal or legal science degree.

The employment is permanent with placement in Norrköping. Appointment by agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. As an employee with us, you have the opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. It is the needs of the business and the nature of the work tasks that determine whether and to what extent it is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with criminal record check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our work tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
