We are now seeking a reliable and dedicated personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives close to nature in his own cottage on his parents' property in Alingsås. There are sheep, a dog, and a cat here – a calm environment for someone who appreciates proximity to nature. A driver's license and access to a car are required as the residence is some distance from public transportation. Driving is also part of the job. About the Assignment The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in all aspects of his daily life. On weekdays, he attends a day program between 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. In his free time, he enjoys participating in cooking, taking part in planned activities, and having a daily routine with clear structure. Weekends are often spent outdoors, taking walks or having coffee/snacks with his assistant. Who Are You? You are reliable, self-reliant, and take initiative. We would appreciate if you are an active person with a genuine interest in cooking, as you will prepare meals together during your work shifts. The position requires you to be organized and comfortable with clear instructional methods and established routines. Requirements: Driver's license and access to a car Meritorious: Experience with autism Great importance is placed on personal qualities and your willingness to create a safe and functional working relationship. About the Position Fixed-term employment for the duration of the assignment, approximately 60% with varying work hours. Weekday shifts are usually 3:15 PM–8:55 AM or 3:15 PM–9:15 PM. Weekend shifts can be 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–9:00 AM, or 24-hour shifts.
