The group home operates under LSS legislation and offers support, services, and care based on each individual's needs and circumstances. We work with individualized support, clear structure, and pedagogical approaches to strengthen participation, independence, and quality of life for residents. The operation consists of six apartments and is located in beautiful Molnby in Vallentuna, with good accessibility to transportation. With us, you get to make a difference every day. About the Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we base our work on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work according to clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction to create safety and predictability in residents' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the operation's resources and budget. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is relationship-building, confident, and stable, with the ability to remain calm and maintain a realistic perspective even in challenging situations. You have an easy time collaborating, are attentive in your interactions with others, and contribute to a positive work environment. As a person, you are self-reliant, responsible, and humble. You have a genuine interest in care work and see the individual's unique needs, circumstances, and opportunities. With professional demeanor, you create trusting relationships and contribute to a safe and meaningful daily life for residents. It is advantageous if you have experience working with clarifying pedagogy, visual supports (such as Pictogram), and low-arousal interaction. Experience working in LSS operations and knowledge of Prader-Willis syndrome are also advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Good computer skills, experience with documentation. Experience working in care and healthcare Secondary education such as childhood and leisure program, healthcare and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field. It is advantageous if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal interaction. Worked with complex support needs.
