Your Role:
As a Global Application Engineer at Axelent, you have a central role in developing, optimizing, and managing our business-critical systems and processes. You report to the CIO and are responsible for ensuring that parts of Axelent's global application portfolio support business objectives through stable operations, strategic development, and cost-effective management.
The role involves close collaboration with both business units and external vendors, where you act as a bridge between IT and the business. The focus is on creating a robust, efficient, and future-proof application landscape that supports operations globally.
You'll have the opportunity to influence how Axelent works with systems, integrations, and digital development for many years to come.
You will:
Be responsible for managing, further developing, and managing the lifecycle of business-critical applications such as ERP, CRM, CPQ, WMS, PIM, and PDM systems. You'll ensure stable operations, high performance, and continuous development of solutions that support the business.
Work with integrations between different systems and contribute to efficient and reliable information flows throughout the organization. Through close collaboration with various business functions, you'll drive improvement initiatives, automation, and development projects that create business value.
The role also involves leading and coordinating IT-related projects, such as implementations, upgrades, and change initiatives. You'll work on planning, execution, and follow-up to ensure that projects deliver desired results.
In support of the business, you'll provide advice, training, and support while ensuring that systems and practices comply with applicable regulations, security requirements, and internal policies.
You are:
You're a communicative and solution-oriented person who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. Understanding processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating ideas into working solutions is something that motivates you.
We believe you have experience with application management, system development, or similar business-focused IT roles where you've worked with business systems, process development, and change management. Experience with project management and system development initiatives is also valuable in this role.
As a person, you're analytical, structured, and comfortable managing multiple parallel activities. You have the ability to quickly understand complex contexts and create practical solutions.
You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while you also appreciate collaboration and have a talent for building good relationships with both colleagues and external partners. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
