The Bauska Municipal Educational Institution "Bauska District Children and Youth Sports School" (registration No. 90000033176) announces an opening for a lifeguard position at the Bauska Swimming Pool. Requirements for candidates: middle education; valid first aid certificate; valid lifeguard certificate obtained from an accredited training institution; training includes: rescue techniques in water first aid emergency response procedures General knowledge and skills: good swimming skills and physical fitness; ability to react quickly in stressful situations; high sense of responsibility; good communication skills; knowledge of the state language (for communication with visitors;) basic knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene. Main job duties: - ensure continuous supervision of the swimming pool and rest areas; - regularly inform swimming pool visitors about internal rules and safety standards during classes, as well as ensure that visitors comply with the pool's internal rules and safety standards; - provide medical and other assistance to visitors when necessary.
