Learn more about the company at www.bbm.se Job Responsibilities As a workshop mechanic at Bengt Bergs Maskinservice, you'll have a varied and rewarding day based in our workshop in Partille. You'll primarily work with service, repair, and preparation of construction machinery. Your tasks may include: • Servicing and repairing construction machinery • Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems • Equipping and preparing new machinery • Using diagnostic data tools as part of troubleshooting • Performing simple documentation of completed work This position is a direct placement with the customer, meaning you'll be employed directly by Bengt Bergs Maskinservice AB. Scope: Full-time Work hours: Daytime Work location: Partille Background and Personal Qualities We're looking for someone who enjoys practical work and loves working with your hands. You're solution-oriented, thorough, and have a genuine interest in machines. You appreciate a varied workday and feel comfortable working in a structured workshop environment. You're someone who likes to take responsibility, steps up when needed, and enjoys finding solutions. Perhaps you have extensive experience as a mechanic – or maybe you've built much of your knowledge through hands-on tinkering. You're a team player who contributes to good morale and is curious about developing in your role over time. We place great importance on personal fit. We believe you have: • Experience with machinery service, vehicle technology, hydraulics, or similar • Basic computer skills • Driver's license (Category B) • Swedish in speech and writing If you have experience with any of these, it's a bonus: • Excavators, wheel loaders, or other construction machinery • Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics • AC/cooling technology, preferably with certification • Takeuchi or Wille machinery • Welding skills • Working independently and taking responsibility for your tasks Above all, we're interested in someone with a strong passion for mechanics, practical skills, and the desire to learn more.
