Welcome to us at Handen Health Center and Dalarö Satellite Clinic as a geriatrician! We are now looking for a dedicated specialist physician in geriatrics for Handen Health Center. You will work with a mixed group of doctors who work together in a very pleasant manner. Do you want to be part of the team? Apply to us! As a specialist in geriatrics/general medicine at Handen Health Center, you will primarily have medical responsibility for our patients enrolled in our elderly care clinic, but you will also meet older patients at the health center. The work requires broad medical competence, independence, and good collaboration skills with different professional groups. Handen Health Center is located adjacent to Haninge centrum, with restaurants, grocery stores, and good public transportation. We also have rehabilitation and child health services as part of the unit. In Dalarö, in the beautiful archipelago environment, we have a small satellite clinic that serves the population living there. Handen Health Center is growing and currently has nearly 21,200 listed patients and is expanding rapidly. We have integrated home care with approximately 200 patients enrolled under the supervision of a responsible home care physician. We have a psychosocial team with a psychologist, psychotherapist, social workers, and rehabilitation coordinator. Two podiatrists. Nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, osteoporosis, and elderly care. We have a minor orthopedic clinic in collaboration with a physiotherapist and a walk-in clinic with close cooperation with the nearby emergency clinic. We operate an SMO clinic (coordinated medical care for people with disabilities). We are one of four clinics in Stockholm. Qualifications: Licensed physician with specialist competence in geriatrics or general medicine with the right to work within Swedish healthcare. Preferably experience working in geriatrics or primary care is meritorious. Meritorious: Previous experience working in primary care.
