The Mission: As Street and Property Manager, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and managing the municipality's physical assets sustainably and long-term. • Strategy & Finance: Development of long-term investment plans, budget monitoring, and prioritization work in collaboration with other operations. • Operations & Leadership: Lead, engage, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees (of which 6 report directly to you), including project managers and operations staff • Contracting & Agreements: Responsibility for procurements, supplier contacts, and contract management. • Political Preparation/Democratic Process: Write statements of service and reports, and present matters/decision documents in committees and to elected representatives. You are part of the sector's management group and report directly to the sector manager. As street and property manager, you will have a key role in building and developing a sustainable Säter for the future. QUALIFICATIONS You need at least three years of post-secondary education with a technical focus, as well as management experience from a politically governed organization—where you have had responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget. Knowledge and experience with LoU is required, as is the ability to handle digital work tools. If you have previously led larger public projects from start to finish, that is meritorious. To be able to handle and analyze the "official Swedish" used within the administration, you need good Swedish language skills. A valid driver's license is required. You can set goals and direction for the operation while simultaneously leading and motivating others to achieve them. You enjoy working with people and have the ability to create and maintain good relationships. Delegating tasks when needed and contributing to your colleagues' development is self-evident for you. You are passionate about communication and can present and speak well regardless of your audience. When the situation requires it, you adapt easily to changed circumstances. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent. You have trust-based working time where you independently plan your work schedule based on operational needs. The current salary range for managers at this level is approximately 52-58 tkr depending on qualifications and professional experience as well as the degree of responsibility in the position.
